The current 7th richest man in the world, Warren Buffett is the world’s most successful stock investor. He is the chairman and largest shareholder of Berkshire Hathaway. The greatest investor of this generation has donated a large amount of his fortune to charities. According to news sources, the investor has given away the equivalent of $37 billion since 2006.

James Simons is the founder of Renaissance Technologies, a New York-based hedge fund that has about $80 billion of assets under management. Mr. Simons — a former math professor and codebreaker has built Renaissance into one of the most successful investment firms in history. He reinvented investing when he left academia in the 1970s to launch his trading enterprise. He resigned as Renaissance’s chief executive in 2010, but continued to lead the board.
