20 richest Chinese billionaires are booming — with a collective wealth that ballooned by $331.26 billion to more than $649 billion during the pandemic, according to a CEOWORLD magazine analysis. Zhong Shanshan, China’s richest person, fattened his wallet by some $71.4 billion to about $78.2 billion, as of January 3, 2021. Colin Huang also did quite well, as his net worth grew by $43.0 billion, jumping $62.6 billion, the data shows. China’s billionaire class had a smashing 2020.

Pony Ma is also among the Chinese billionaires — who had a great 2020, adding $17.8 billion to his pile, which now totals $56.4 billion. RICH GETTING RICHER: Jack Ma fattened his wallet by some $3.97 billion to about $50.6 billion. CEOWORLD magazine estimates that the 20 richest Chinese billionaires billionaires have collectively gotten $331.26 billion richer in 2020. China’s top 20 billionaires are worth an estimated $649 billion, based on CEOWORLD magazine’ calculations using stock prices from January 3, 2021.

No one in China has had a better 2020 than Zhong Shanshan, whose fortune has grown an astonishing $71.4 billion this year to nearly $78.2 billion, making him the richest person in China.
