The world’s top 25 richest billionaires now worth more than $50 billion each

Top 5 richest billionaires now hold fortunes in excess of $100 billion (Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Bernard Arnault, and Mark Zuckerberg) and the next 20 wealthiest billionaires are worth at least $50 billion. The world’s 500 wealthiest people added $1.8 trillion to their combined net worth this year and are now worth $7.6 trillion.

Jeff Bezos remains the world’s richest person. Combined the 25 richest gained about $555.38 billion in 12 months, as of January 1, 2021. Elon Musk gained the most on the list – added $142 billion to his fortune. Bezos’s wealth has grown by roughly $75.4 billion over the same period, putting his net worth estimate at roughly $190 billion as the year came to an end.

Prof. Dr. Amarendra Bhushan Dhiraj is a publishing executive and economist who is the CEO and editor-in-chief of The CEOWORLD magazine, one of the world’s most influential and recognized global news publications.
