British billionaires getting richer: 15 richest people in the United Kingdom

Leading the pack were Jim Ratcliffe, rising from $20.89 billion to $27.2 billion, and Inventor James Dyson, from $14.12 billion to $23.9 billion. Dyson increased his wealth by $9.78 billion in a bumper year for the vacuum entrepreneur. Jim Ratcliffe, boss of petrochemicals firm Ineos, is the UK’s wealthiest person.

Third on the list is Hugh Grosvenor, worth $12.7 billion, as of January 1, 2021. Denise Coates’s net worth has increased a whopping $4.59 billion since last year.
