Broadly speaking, there are a few universities, mostly in Europe and the United States of America, where you can learn accounting in an exemplary environment. Of course, getting into these universities is as tough as it sounds, but once you make it into them, you are assured of a bright future in the world of accounting and everything about it.

    I think it was quite foreseeable that the top spot was most likely taken by Harvard University. There is not much to say about this place which stands as a pinnacle of academic excellence. The oldest educational institution in America, it has about 13 schools supplemented by a comprehensive and the most extensive library systems in the world. Its research output is outstanding, and it has participated in prominent research projects including the foundation of the Association of American Universities. Harvard University has a solid alumni network which includes who’s who in various fields such as 161 Nobel laureates and hundreds of billionaires.
  2. Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA
    We are talking about an institute with a stellar reputation. MIT started as an endeavor to contribute to the industrialization of the United States in the year 1861 and directs its resources for undertaking groundbreaking research work. Its contribution to science and technology is already widely acknowledged; however, it has also expanded to various other fields including accounting. It is also an esteemed member of the Association of American Universities and is a recipient of government-funded research works. Being a world-leading center of research, it shouldn’t be a surprise that it is associated with many prestigious research-oriented associations in the world such as the Russel group, the European University Association, and the European University of Social Sciences. It is, especially, known for offering the Rhodes scholarship that is among the most challenging scholarships to secure in the world.
