The all-aluminum Cosmos 80 meter superyacht, the fastest and largest yacht ever made by Heesen Yachts

Heesen Yachts, the Dutch shipyard unveiled the latest updates to the 80.07 meter Superyacht Cosmos. Cosmos is scheduled for delivery in April 2022. The all-aluminum superyacht has a designed top speed of close to 30 knots and a cruising speed in excess of 20 knots and will use a development of the Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) as developed by Van Oossanen and Rolls-Royce.

The Cosmos 80 meter Superyacht project brings together Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design (interior) and Winch Design (exterior)- who worked with Van Oossanen Naval Architects and Rolls-Royce Marine to create one of the fastest 80-meter plus superyachts in the world.

The fastest: Under the magnificent exterior, 4 MTU engines drive 2 propellors generating 19,000hp and speeds of up to 30 knots – making the Cosmos the fastest in her class.

The attention to detail:
– 270sqm helipad-meets-sun deck.
– 7-meter pool with a glass bottom into which a waterfall cascades from the deck above, as well as a ‘beach club’ with a sunken walk-around bar.
