People may not prefer reading books these days for their reasons but are inclined towards ‘screen’. Parents stretch their hair to reduce this ‘screen time’ of their kids, maybe due to which podcasts are gaining popularity since these satisfy both of them. The podcasts are pretty interesting to listen and it keeps your kids away from those ‘freaking’ gadgets and television. The internet is filled with numerous podcasts of various genres and for different kinds of audiences. Here are the best podcasts of comedy genre especially for the teenagers-

  1. Teen Girl Talk: This sibling duo, Frank and Susie, just makes the show. They simply discuss movies, TV shows, and books and tell us about their likes and dislikes regarding the same. This podcast takes you to some other world. Their humorous talks seem cute and sometimes ironic. You won’t be able to resist yourself laughing while listening to them.
  2. Father Knows Worst: This podcast is hosted by a sweet father-daughter duo where Phil and his teenage daughter Mari, talk about anything that comes to their mind and exists in this world, including music and culture. Sometimes, their talks make sense but sometimes, they utter non-sense but in a comic way. This fine blend of fun and seriousness is truthful and impromptu and pleasing to ears.
  3. Socially Awkward: Now, this one is something out of the box. Hosted by two brothers, the Socially Awkward Podcast features the discussion of various such things that even most sane people would not feel it worth discussing but they do it just to entertain you. 4. Dear Hank And John: Dear Hank & John podcast features the Green brothers Hank Green and John Green, where Hank is a musician and author and John Green is a young-adult novelist. The most interesting part that attracts the audiences comes when the audience question the hosts and they advise often comically. Every episode, with an approximate duration of 45 minutes, also shows how the hosts plug numerous fictional sponsors of the show, of course, humorously. With a huge success in the US just after its debut, it has spread its web to the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Canada, Spain, Australia, and Brazil too.

Answer Me This: Helen Zaltzman and Olly Mann are the hosts of this monthly hilarious podcast where Helen and Mann answer questions, asked by the general public, via email, answerphone, Skype, or any media, with subjects ranging from personal problems and factual queries to philosophical dilemmas or everyday arguments. It became a huge sensation in no time. It made its debut in the year 2007 and became one of the UK’s most successful independently produced podcasts. Moreover, it also became the first non-musical act to play the iTunes Festival. Although it began with a weekly broadcast, now its frequency is monthly.
  6. What’s Good Games: If you are a video game freak, then you will love listening to this one. What’s Good Games is an explanatory comic weekly podcast that covers a single theme of video games. You would love the chemistry of its hosts, who are usually females. They possess expertise in the biggest games on the market and cover news, listener questions, and even personal experiences of the games.
