    Money Heist is fast-paced and yet very engaging. All the characters have a charm of their own. Money Heist has won an Emmy for the Best Drama Series. It is also the most-watched non-English series. Even Stephen King is a huge fan. 
  3. Orange Is the New Black
    Orange Is the New Black
    humanizes the characters. It has characters from various body types, genders, races, and sexualities. Just like in real prisons, it is full of conflicts. These conflicts, ranging from minor shoves to proper rivalries carry the plot forward.
  4.  The Witcher
    Just like the Westeros in Game of Thrones, The Witcher has “The Continent”. We also have a queen who protects them at all costs. But unlike Cersei, she’s likeable. Mythical creatures like genies, elves, and dragons have been brought together. Aretuza is the school of magic for witches. The Witcher amazes by bringing together several known elements together. 
  5. Stranger Things
    Initially, Stranger Things is heavily sci-fi. But it goes easy on sci-fi as the series progresses. Although it is a supernatural drama, the atmosphere isn’t always serious. Thanks to the young cast, there are some light moments. Multiple groups of characters offer variety in the narrative. In the final episode, these groups come together to save the day.
  6. American Vandal
    Fundamentally, American Vandal is a satire on vandalism. But how can a simple topic of vandalism be stretched without boring the audience? American Vandal manages to do just that. The characters are relatable. And most importantly, the plot is just not predictable. All this makes American Vandal an exceptional mockumentary.
  7. Master of None
    You may remember Aziz Ansari from his time on Parks and Recreation. He has carried that witty humor to Master of None. The audience can relate to the ethnically diverse cast. The show addresses real issues with acceptable humor. The show has won an Emmy for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series.
  8.  Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
    Initially aired on NBC, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt went to the next level after coming under Netflix. Watch out for the pop culture references throughout the show. Jabs have been thrown at the “King of Sitcoms” Chuck Lorre and the Kardashians.
  9.  Mindhunter
    The show is based on a true story. The dialogue in the interviews of killers is also taken from real interviews. You feel the chills when you realize that these criminals are for real. Cameron Britton won the Best Actor in a Series, Drama/Genre at the Satellite Awards for the impressive portrayal of serial killer Ed Kemper.
  10. BoJack Horseman
    BoJack Horseman
    is a satirical show that revolves around a former TV star. He seeks to make a solid comeback to the showbiz. And by the way, the protagonist is an alcoholic horse. This cartoon features clever dialogues and pretty complex characters. It has received several accolades, namely, four Critics’ Choice Television Awards for Best Animated Series, three Annie Awards and two Writers Guild of America Awards.
