As it turns out, Hawaii’s small businesses are the most affected by the COVID-19 epidemic in the U.S. Nevada took second place overall. To determine the states in which small businesses are hit hardest by COVID-19, WalletHub, compared the 50 states and the District of Columbia across 12 key metrics. These were divided into three major categories: “Impact & Access to Resources,” “Small-Business Financial Conditions” and “Business Environment & Workforce Support.”
