Amir makes short format funny videos on Instagram with the help of his friends and professional actors.

The videos are quite low budget which makes it easier for Amir to release it quicker. Kamyar696 on Instagram has over 2 million followers and his videos receive hundreds and thousands of views in just a couple of hours. When asked about his tryst with comedy, Amir replied, “I love to entertain and make people laugh. I truly believe it is one of my strengths that can brighten somebody’s day”. He also adds, “I have a very different style of comedy compared to other comedians in Iran. I love doing improvisation comedy through which I can create multiple personalities”. On his future plans, Amir is aiming to appear in Iranian movies and eventually explore the possibilities in Hollywood. Apart from comedy, Amir is also a singer who has released three tracks and collaborated with other musicians from Iran.
