Bali makes up for a fantastic luxury vacation. With its pristine beaches, the picturesque expanse of waters, mind-comforting greenery and unique cultural influences throughout, Bali is an adventure on its own. It becomes all the more memorable if you are willing to shell it all out and enjoy its natural, cultural and modern bliss in a luxurious way. However, while I understand that budgetary constraints are reduced considerably in a luxury vacation, there is no harm in knowing about things that can help you reduce unnecessary expenses.

Bali Island in Indonesia

Today, I will take some of your time to tell you how your Bali adventures can become easier and more entertaining. I have compiled a list of 5 pointers about the place that can make your luxury vacation better than you expected. Here we go!

  1. Haggling is the way out
Yeah, sure you have decided to go on a luxury vacation because you are ready to spend generously. However, mindless expenses are not helpful, and it is better you get the deals you should ordinarily be getting. For that, haggling will come to your rescue. In Bali, you can get by haggling and can secure nicer deals. Haggling works everywhere here: from tours to hotels, you are given room to negotiate and name your price. This goes even for those things which have a fixed tag on it.
  2. Local Transportation Is Next Level
If you truly wish to explore the grounded realities of Bali, then you must join the bandwagon like every other local. Bali is the most popular Indonesian island which means you can expect a lot of crowds. Despite the fact of it being jam-packed, it is advisable to hop on the local mopeds for a better experience. By resorting to local transportation, you will be able to save a chunk of money and also have greater freedom of exploration. For quicker transportation, you may want to resort to motorbike taxis from Gojek or cab from the Bluebird Taxi app.Bali Indonesia
  3. Ubud
When we plan for a luxury vacation, we expect comfort on every level. This includes wellness treatment in your hotel and in the place of visit. Ubud is the place to go to if you want to experience an authentic Indonesian wellness regime. You will come across scores of medical practitioners that manage many prominent wellness centers offering all types of massage therapies, herbal treatments, and acupuncture treatments, But, Ubud is not just about these: there are plenty of other things to explore while you are here such as traditional dance performances, sprawling rice fields, temples, and picture-perfect villages.Jalan Monkey Forest Ubud, Bali Indonesia
  4. Head over to the Gilis
Only a couple of hours away from Bali, the famous trio of Gili Islands are not to be missed. When in Bali, you are largely inclined towards exploring the natural getaways of Indonesia—and the three Gili islands are something that will offer you a plethora of these experiences. The beautiful sea marked by white sandy beaches and coconut palms is the first thing you would notice about the Gilis. But, as you learn more about it, you would know what an incredible world it is. You can indulge in a number of activities including diving, biking, swimming with sea turtles, and watching the sunset over Gunung Agung. Gilis are just a boat ride away from Bali. Do not miss out on them!Gili Island Indonesia
  5. Surfing is the mood
If you did not know this already, Balinese are fans of surfing as a result of which there are many excellent surfing schools and surfing activities provided. People from all over the world come to Bali for this very experience—and this is especially the case during the dry season. So, while making your vacation plans to Bali, make sure you plan accordingly because dry season would mean more crowd which means more people on the beaches.Surfer Bali indonesia

Note that the dry season lasts from the month of May to September. Also, if you think traveling during the wet season, which lasts from the month of November to March, means prices will be cheaper, then you are wrong. It is advised that for the best experience you make a trip to the west coast of Bali during the dry season.
