Not so surprisingly, Of all 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia, the best state for women in America is Massachusetts, according to a new report.

The 2020 rankings placed Minnesota in second ahead of Iowa into third; while Maine ranked fourth, and Colorado fifth.

To find out which states the best and worst for Women in America, the experts at WalletHub analyzed the 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia across 24 key metrics, including median earnings for female workers to women’s preventive health care to the female homicide rate.
