Unsurprisingly, The top twenty biggest billionaire gainers of 2019 added nearly $37.8 billion to their fortunes. The biggest winner of 2019 is Facebook’s controversial chief Mark Zuckerberg. Billionaires keep getting richer, whether they want to or not.

The three billionaires whose fortunes have increased the most in 2019 are Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Page, and Sergey Brint: They are all currently in the top 10 on the world’s wealthiest people list, and each man’s net worth has increased by more than $3.5 billion in 2019.

The net worth of Mark Zuckerberg, the founder, and CEO of Facebook and the reigning world’s 5th richest man, was estimated at $83.1 billion. That’s up to $4.71 billion since January 12, 2019.

Larry Page, Google co-founder and current 7th richest man alive, has also seen his fortune soar. From the beginning of 2019 through Monday, January 13, 2020, Larry Page’s net worth was already up to $3.79 billion, reaching a total of $68.4 billion.

To measure fortunes for this article, CEOWORLD magazine looked at the change in the net worth of the top 500 billionaires between January 14, 2019, and January 13, 2020. We calculated the biggest winners in absolute dollar terms and only took into consideration billionaires on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. Bear in mind that the recent rise in these billionaires’ net worths is relative.
