The Best Hotels In Birmingham (England) For Business Travelers, 2020

Hyatt Regency Birmingham England United Kingdom

Once a market town, Birmingham rose to prominence in the 18th century as the first major manufacturing centre in the world. This place has made notable contributions to the economy of the United Kingdom, including the development of the Walt Steam engine. Today, it stands as a beta-world city and a thriving market for the service sector. While the economy is a formidable attribute of this city, its socio-cultural aspects are of much relevance to the country and the world. It is home to many professional orchestras, music festivals, and popular music bands. Added to all that is the distinct lifestyle of Brummies you cannot get enough.

Naturally, finding a good hotel should not be a problem considering its reputation as a major tourist spot. However, there are many of these hotels to deliberate upon, and I have shortlisted a few of them in this article. These hotels come with many guest-friendly features such as attentive staff, onsite facilities of utmost quality, branded and comfortable furnishings, and excellent location.

  1. Hyatt Regency.
Address: 2 Bridge St, Birmingham B1 2JZ, United Kingdom
Stepping up hospitality, Hyatt Regency is one of the most comfortable lodgings in the city. Located close to prime tourist attractions such as Symphony Hall, the hotel comes with 319 rooms including suites that are well-ventilated, airy and equipped with facilities such as showers in bathrooms, cosy beddings, plush fabrics, and dark wood furniture. So far as food is concerned, there are 2 options to consider. The Aria restaurant serves authentic British dishes whereas Gentleman & Scholar Pub maintains a chic atmosphere and an excellent snacks menu. Other things to explore here include a fitness centre, a sauna room, and a spa facility.
  2. Hotel Indigo
Address: The Cube, Wharfside St, Birmingham B1 1RS, United Kingdom
Housing well-furnished rooms, you are assured exemplary hospitality if you decide to stay here. There are 52 options to choose from, and each of these options comes with walk-in showers, Egyptian cotton linen, and outside views. If you opt for upgraded rooms, you will get floor-to-ceiling windows and better outside views. There is a spectacular dining facility called the MPW restaurant, giving breath-taking views of the city and serving delicious meals. Opportunities to indulge in other services are easily available here such as a spa facility and a fitness centre.
  3. Staying Cool
Address: Rotunda, 150 New St, Birmingham B2 4PA, United Kingdom
First of all, the location of Staying Cool is totally cool, connecting you to major attractions in the city including well-received restaurants and shops. Second of all, the apartments in the hotel are spacious and come in various sizes and with myriad services. All of these apartments, however, come with customised furnishings, bright colour schemes, television, and comfortable bathrooms. While there is no restaurant, the in-house chef ensures that you are served with a fantastic two-course meal whenever you so desire. Breakfast is scrumptious and includes fresh berries and jams.
  4. Genting Hotel.
Address: Resorts World, Pendigo Way, Marston Green, Birmingham B40 1PU, United Kingdom
Genting Hotel is a member of Resorts World and is right outside the airport. The façade is effortlessly corporate and the interiors have been designed to inculcate modern luxuries for greater sophistication. The fitness centre is well-equipped and professionally supervised and swimming pool is large enough to accommodate larger-than-life comfort needs. There are 178 categorised rooms that are marked by snuggly beds, compact but well-maintained bathrooms and pleasant colour schemes. And, by the way, there are a number of dining options to consider.
  5. Radisson Blu Hotel.
Address: 12 Holloway Circus, Queensway, Birmingham B1 1BT, United Kingdom
Radisson Blu is a renowned name in the world of hotels so you will come with a lot of expectations here. If you choose its Birmingham branch, you are up for a nice ride. 6. Hotel La Tour
Address: Albert St, Birmingham B5 5JE, United Kingdom
Business travellers have developed a liking for Hotel La Tour, particularly due to its location and availability of business spaces. However, its services cater to the needs of leisure travellers equally well. Its rooms feature internet connectivity, large windows, monsoon showers in bathrooms, king-size beds, and pleasant colour schemes. The food is decent here, with Mr. White’s Chophouse maintaining a refreshing selection of local dishes. You can also hit the onsite gym which is equipped with aerobic tools.
  7. Park Regis Birmingham

Culinary adventures happen in numerous dining facilities that serve an array of cuisines, from British to Japanese. The hotel maintains a high-end spa facility called the Shakina Spa comprising 4 treatment rooms and using branded products for therapies. But, if a workout is what makes you happy, then head to the gym. Also, there is a quick laundry service.

Another property close to prime tourist attractions, The Blue Piano is a beautiful place to be at. The architectural style features Edwardian inspiration and interiors are heavily influenced by South-east Asian styles. The eponymous piano can be found in the lobby, in case you are curious. All the 8 rooms come with a television, docking station, laptop safe, and minibar. Bathrooms are tiled and come with Cole & Lewis’ high-quality toiletries. The onsite dining facility serves a range of cuisine, from Malaysian to Singaporean. Breakfast is quite exquisite and should not be missed. Also, while you are here, do not miss the music events happening near the Blue Piano.
  9. Hampton by Hilton

Hilton’s pride and joy in Birmingham, Hampton is a comfort-laden property with cosy rooms, delectable food options, and professional services. All rooms feature large mirrors, safe deposit box, coffee and tea facilities, outside views, and wooden furnishings.
