These Are The 15 Large U.S. Cities With The Most Remote Workers, 2019

Atlanta, GA

Atlanta and Portland top the list of the fifteen large U.S. cities with the most remote workers, that’s according to a new study. Notably, the top five U.S. cities on the list have maintained their exact rankings from 2018. The report has also revealed that more affluent and educated cities are more likely to have a larger home-based workforce.

To assemble and rank this list of the 15 U.S. cities with the largest share of workers who exclusively work from home, CEOWORLD magazine reviewed the latest U.S. Census data. The number of Americans working from home has increased by more than 2 million since 2010, reaching 8.2 million in 2018. Today, one in twenty American workers clock most of their hours from home.
