Rayon is a good fabric for sportswear and of course, summer dresses, as it is breathable, comfortable and cool to wear. It was invented as a cheaper alternative to silk. It can basically imitate the feel and texture of linen, cotton, silk and wool. Rayon fiber is pretty comfortable, soft to the skin and possesses the average dry strength.
