Hong Kong is an ideal and mostly visited location for honeymoon (even for normal vacations as well), as it’s pocket-friendly and captivating to spend your golden days with your bae.

Everybody cherishes overseas vacation but the primary hindrance in the fun for vegetarians comes is food. It’s really troublesome to find a vegetarian meal overseas but not anymore because we have shortlisted  5 pure-veg. restaurants that serve in Hong Kong.

1) Pure Veggie House:-

This is a place (right by the Peak Tram station) that welcomes vegetarians as well as vegans. This is one of the very few places in Hong Kong that offers multiple meal options. The serene ambience of this Buddhist restaurant offers a unique dining experience. Being very popular, you need to have a reservation for your table especially on weekends. The atmosphere here is pleasant, service is efficient and the staff is attentive. Food is so fresh and delicious that even non-vegetarians love the veg. food here. The menu is not just extensive but also presented really well and elaborates where the dishes and ingredients come from, which I’ve not heard of about any other restaurant. Though its every single dish is tempting, its Dim Sum and Veggie Hot Pot are highly recommended.

Timing – 11 am – 10:30 pm

2) Sangeetha Vegetarian Restaurant:-

If you are looking for best Indian taste overseas in Hong Kong, this is the place to go for, which is quite close to East Tsim Sha Tsui inside the Wing On Plaza. It’s like a paradise for pure-veg Indian food lovers in Hong Kong. Mostly packed up with guests, this offers us best idli sambhar and dosas. Flavorsome North Indian Thali is a must-try. Whatever it costs, it’s value for money (though it doesn’t cost much) since it serves authentic, tempting and hygienic food with super hospitality.

Timing
8:30 am – 3 pm, 6 pm – 10:30 pm (weekdays)
8:30 am – 10:30 pm (weekend)

3) Saravana Pure Veg. Restaurant:-

If you are a crazy lover of North Indian as well as South Indian cuisines, then this is THE place. It serves flavoring South Indian dishes. Its dosas are mouth-watering and paneer veggies are appetizing. Ambience is nice and hospitality is super. You can reserve a table online so that you don’t have to wait in queue controlling the rats jumping in your stomach.

If you are in Chung King for any reason, then you must check it out.

Timing- 11 am – 10:30 pm

4) Khana Khazana Indian Veg. Restaurant and Bar:-

Luscious food, humble staff, pocket-friendly price, wonderful ambience, hygiene, and homely feeling, what else do you want for Indian food in a country other than India? If you happen to be in Wan Chai on Sunday, then you just can’t afford to miss its brunch (vegan dishes and mouth-watering desserts). It offers numerous tempting options like dosa, idli, naan, rice, and its special paneer butter masala. It keeps some or the other offer every other day. You can reserve a table here online.

Timing –
12 noon- 3pm, 6pm- 10:30 pm (weekdays)
12 noon- 11 pm (weekend)

5) Woodlands Indian Veg. Restaurant:-

Its eye-catching decoration and mouth-watering dishes can magnetize anyone. If you crave for home-style food away from home, then this destination caters to your craving. This famous restaurant in Wing On Plaza is a wholesome package of satisfying food, attentive staff, magnificent ambience, decent atmosphere and hygiene.

Timing – 11:30am – 3:30 pm, 6:30 pm – 10:30 pm

So, have a worry-less and tension-free visit to Hong Kong next time.

Bon voyage ☺
