Interestingly, Paris has been named the best tourist destination in the world by TripAdvisor, followed by London in second, Rome in third, and Bali fourth.

Crete, Barcelona, Prague, Marrakech, and Istanbul – which come in fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth respectively – all ranked above the Big Apple – New York City. Phuket in Thailand came in eleventh place at the prestigious awards.
