Revealed: These Are The 50 Best Jobs In The US For 2018

With an overall job score of 4.8, data scientist has once again topped the list of the 50 best jobs in America for 2018, according to the job review site Glassdoor, followed by DevOps Engineer, Marketing Manager, Occupational Therapist, and HR Manager.

The so-called “best” job, then?

“Data Scientist”. With an average job satisfaction rating of 4.2 (out of 5), a median base salary of $110,000 and 4,524 openings currently listed on site, it doesn’t sound too shabby.

There are four new job titles on this year’s list; these include strategy managers (7th), business development managers (14th), business intelligence developers (42nd), and business analysts (43rd).

How does one find a job that offers the trifecta of good pay, high job satisfaction, and plenty of openings?

The rankings were determined by the number of job openings, salary, and overall job satisfaction for each position. Job Score and Job Satisfaction are based on a 5-point scale.
