World’s Top 100 Universities For Studying Physics: THE Ranking 2018

Princeton, Harvard, Stanford, and MIT make it into top four in Times Higher Education rankings for physical sciences.

Princeton University is the world’s top university for studying physics, according to the latest THE Rankings for physical sciences subjects 2018, while Harvard, which was first last year, is now 2nd.

The table is dominated by US institutions which have claimed 115 of the 500 places and 6 of the top 10. Stanford and MIT take 3rd and 4th places, respectively.

California Institute of Technology was the 5th US institution in the top 10, followed by the University of Chicago, which was 12the last year, is now 10th.

The University of Cambridge (NO. 5) was the top-ranked institution in Europe, followed by the University of Oxford at NO. 6 and ETH Zurich Switzerland at NO. 8.
