10 Most Valuable Brands In The World For 2017: Google, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, and Facebook Tops

U.S. tech giants Google, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, and Facebook, dubbed the ‘Fearsome Five,’ occupy the top 5 spots among the world’s most valuable brands. WeChat’s owner China’s Tencent entered the top ten for the first time.

Technology firms comprise 7 of the top ten most valuable brands in the world. AT&T, Visa, and McDonald’s were the only other companies apart from technology firms included in the top 10 list.

With a brand value of more than $245 billion, BrandZ’s top 100 most valuable global brands ranking for 2017 saw Google retain its top spot, Apple trails right behind with $234 billion.
