Here are the 20 busiest airports in the world in 2015

s one might expect, world’s busiest airport to be located in London, Singapore, New York, Beijing, or Dubai, but, Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, located in the southern US city of Atlanta, Georgia took the top spot, according to the Airports Council International (ACI).

With more than 101 million passengers passing through in 2015 – that’s the equivalent of the population of Vietnam or a little less than Philippines, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is the busiest airport in the world.

The Delta factor – It serves as the main hub for Delta Airlines and its 826-plane fleet – one of the world’s largest airlines.
