Quiet and secluded, Mount Maunganui beach has been voted as the best beach in the New Zealand for the third year in a row.

Oriental Bay beach in Wellington came in at No. 2 spot on the New Zealand’s best beaches list for 2015, with Ninety Mile Beach, Kaitaia in third. Kaiteriteri Beach was forth (full list below).

For those thinking about an escape, travel site TripAdvisor announced the winners of its Travellers’ Choice Awards for top beaches in New Zealand.

Travellers’ Choice award-winning beaches have been judged by the quality and quantity of millions of traveller reviews and ratings  for beaches on the Travel site gathered over a 12-month period.

Here are top 10 best beaches in New Zealand:

1. Maunganui Beach
