Two Polish business schools claims ranking on elite FT list

Two Polish business schools ranked among the top 80 in the 2014 FT rankings of  best European business schools.

Kozminski University ranked 41st in the 2014 list of top 80 best European business schools. The school has slipped from 37th place last year and 41st place in 2012.

With 22 percent of its faculty regarded as international, graduates from Kozminski University’s executive MBA can expect to earn $151,910, according to the figures released.

Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) ranked seventy-seventh on the list, which was topped by the London Business School, followed by HEC Paris and Spain’s IE Business School and Esade Business School.

Top of the list was London Business School, followed by HEC Paris, IE Business School and Esade Business School, both in Spain, took 3rd and 4th place, with Insead in France in 5th place.

Meantime, the CEOWORLD magazine’s European business school rankings place Kozminski University 42nd in Europe, followed by Warsaw School of Economics at number 78 while France’s HEC Paris emerged the No. 1 business school in Europe.

In a recent ranking done by CEOWORLD magazine, HEC Paris ranked No. 1 in 2014 edition of Europe’s top business school rankings for CEOs and entrepreneurs, followed by IE Business School in 2nd place and London Business School (LBS) in third place. Rounding out the top five, Esade Business School and INSEAD ranked 4th and 5th respectively.

The FT ranking of best European business schools assesses the combined performance of Europe’s leading business schools across their full-time MBA, executive MBA, masters in management, and executive education programmes, nearly 50% of the best European schools listed are from either the UK (20) or France (19).
