25 Highest-Paid Female Powerhouse Executives: Top-Paid Women in America 2014

The 25 highest paid female powerhouse executives in America brought home smaller paychecks in 2013 compared to 2012, according to data provided to Fortune magazine by Equilar, an information database of the total executive compensation packages of public companies.

Martine Rothblatt, United Therapeutics CEO, has now become the highest paid woman executive in America for 2014, made a whopping $38.2 million. No. 2 on the list, Safra Catz Oracle’s co-CEO, her pay dip in 2013 to $37.7 million from $43.6 million in 2012.

Notably, median pay packages for the 25 top paid women at publicly traded companies edged down to $13.8 million in 2013 from $14.7 million in 2012.

By comparison, median pay packages for the 25 top paid male executives grew to $44.1 million in 2013 from $40.7 million in 2012.
