Charif Souki, the president and CEO of Cheniere Energy in Houston, is the highest-paid CEO in the United States with his total pay at more than $141 million, according to The New York Times and its data provider Equilar, which pulled together a list of the 200 highest-paid chief executives.

HERE’S something fun:

Question: Which company has the best paid CEO in America? You’d think a household names, like Walmart, Apple, Google, GE… right?

Answer: Nope. It’s Cheniere Energy, a company that has never turned a profit and 50 times smaller than ExxonMobi.
