UIB Asia Appoints Francis Savari for the role of CEO

According to the announcement of UIB Asia Reinsurance Brokers Pte Ltd, Francis Savari has been appointed as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) based in Singapore, succeeding Hiroki Miyamoto, who served as CEO for five years. Miyamoto will assume a new role at United Insurance Brokers Ltd. in London to enhance the Group’s business development with Japanese clients.

Francis Savari’s appointment has received approval from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). With over three decades of professional experience in various industries, Savari brings a diverse background to his role as CEO. His previous positions include roles at Marsh Management Services, Munich Re, Partner Re, and Singapore Re, where he most recently served as Deputy CEO.

His expertise spans multiple facets of the industry, including captive management, risk financing, risk consulting, marketing, underwriting, client management, and business development. Savari’s experience is primarily focused on the Southeast Asia region and broader Asian markets, with a specialization in treaty business.
