Why Google in talks to buy airline IT and services provider ITA Software for up to $1B?
Google (GOOG) is in talks to acquire, an airline IT and services provider, ITA Software , a provider of travel software used by Kayak.com, CheapTickets, as well as Bing Travel and Orbitz and others. The price of the transaction could be as high as $1 billion.

Microsoft Online Ad Exec Scott Howe Leaves Company, replaced by Rik van der Kooi at APS Group
Scott Howe, the top executive in charge of Microsoft’s [[MSFT]] Advertiser & Publisher Solutions group, is resigning. Scott Howe is replaced by Rik van der Kooi, CFO of Microsoft’s Online Services Division. Howe spent three years with Microsoft, joining as part of the aQuantive acquisition. He’ll depart the company on May 14.

Zynga worth over $3bn- Farmville now has 80 million Facebook users
Zynga’s Facebook game Farmville application popularity is really booming at the moment, with the stats showing that it has reached the 80 million user milestone (31 million daily active users).
