Sedgwick Appoints Neil Gibson as its CEO in the UK
Sedgwick has appointed Neil Gibson as its CEO in the UK. Gibson, who most recently served as COO of Sedgwick’s operations in the UK, New Zealand, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, is also a member of Sedgwick’s global environmental, social, and governance (ESG) committee.
In a press release, Sedgwick emphasized Gibson’s commitment to the company’s growth and resources in the UK. Gibson expressed his honor at taking on the position and underscored his focus on the importance of Sedgwick’s people, considering them the most valuable asset in the organization. He pledged to uphold the company’s values and objectives for the benefit of over 2,000 colleagues in the UK and the clients they serve.
Neil Gibson succeeds Paul White, who was appointed Sedgwick CEO for the UK, New Zealand, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia in October 2019. White will continue to oversee Sedgwick’s business in the UK and other international territories as the regional CEO.
White commented on Gibson’s appointment, stating that Gibson’s successful four-year tenure as COO made him the natural choice to lead Sedgwick’s UK business to the next level. White highlighted Gibson’s industry experience and outstanding knowledge of the local business and predicted that Gibson’s involvement in Sedgwick’s activities would contribute to his continued success. White also acknowledged Gibson’s significant value to the new position as Sedgwick maintains its investment in the UK market.
