Who says you’re not supposed to mix business with fun. Over the years, plenty of father and son teams have appeared in the same movie, if you don’t like it — blame them. You might be surprised.

Will Smith and Jaden Smith - They will appear in the science fiction action film, “After Earth,” directed by Hollywood’s master of the surprise ending M. Night Shyamalan, as Cypher and Kitai Raige. Cast: Jaden Smith as Kitai Raige, Will Smith as Cypher Raige, Isabelle Fuhrman as Rayna, Sophie Okonedo as Faia Raige Zoë Isabella Kravitz as Senshi Raige, David Denman as McQuarrie, Kristofer Hivju as Security chief, Gabriel Caste as Ranger, Lincoln Lewis as Bo and Chris Geere as Navigator.
Martin Sheen and Charlie Sheen - Martin Sheen and Two and a Half Men start Charlie Sheen are responsible for arguably the greatest pairing of real-life father and son on film in Oliver Stone’s classic ‘Wall Street.’ They have since re-teamed as father and son on Charlie’s hit FX series ‘Anger Management.’
James Brolin and Josh Brolin - In 1997 (a decade prior to ‘No Country’ and ‘Grindhouse’), James and Josh appeared together in ‘My Brother’s War,’ with father playing the lead and son appearing in a support.
Donald Sutherland and Kiefer Sutherland - Kiefer Sutherland appeared alongside his Hollywood legend father, Donald, in the 1983 movie ‘Max Dugan Returns.’ The Sutherlands teamed up again in 1996 for the John Grisham courtroom thriller ‘A Time to Kill.’
Stellan Skarsgard and Alexander Skarsgard - The Skarsgards teamed up for Lars von Trier’s ‘Melancholia’ in 2011, as well as ‘Metopia,’ ‘Kill Your Darlings’ and the animated film ‘Moomins and the Comet Chase.’
Lloyd Bridges, Beau Bridges and Jeff Bridges - Jeff Bridges teamed up with his celebrated father, Lloyd Bridges, for the 1988 film ‘Tucker: The Man and His Dream’ and the 1994 thriller ‘Blown Away.’ Jeff’s older brother, Beau Bridges, appeared alongside his father in Beau’s 1987 film ‘The Wild Pair.’ Unsurprisingly, both Bridges boys also made appearances on their father’s ‘The Lloyd Bridges Show’ in the early 60s.
Kirk Douglas and Michael Douglas - Kirk and Michael Douglas united on-screen in the 2003 comedy-drama film ‘It Runs in the Family,’ starring three generations of the Douglas family: Kirk Douglas, his son Michael Douglas, and Michael’s son Cameron Douglas, who play three generations of a family.
Jerry Stiller and Ben Stiller - Ben Stiller and Jerry Stiller starred alongside one another in ‘Zoolander,’ ‘The Heartbreak Kid,’ ‘Heavy Weights’ and ‘The Independent,’ and they both had cameos in ‘Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy.’
