All the billionaires, all with the exception of Oprah Winfrey and Mohammed Al Amoudi are African — three in Africa, one in the UK, one in the Middle East and only one is American. Media mogul Oprah Winfrey With $2.7 billion, she’s still the world’s richest black woman – female billionaire. Nigerian self-made business magnet Aliko Dangote is, however, no longer the richest black person in the world. He’s been ousted by Mohammed Al Amoudi, of Saudi and Ethiopian descent, who is worth an estimated $12.5 billion.
