Megaupload Founder Kim Dotcom Wife Mona Dotcom Requests Her Mercedes, Jewelry, Watches and Electronics Returned 

23-year-old Mona Dotcom Wife of file-sharing site Megaupload Founder Kim Dotcom wants her Mercedes, Jewelry, Watches and Electronics, including a $202,000 Mercedes and a face sculpture valued at $100,000 to be returned. Kim Dotcom was arrested on copyright charges, money laundering and racketeering.

“I am simply asking the courts to return my own property and make reasonable provision for our family’s ongoing maintenance and care,” she said in the court filing, according to the New Zealand Herald. She told the court she wanted a 21st birthday present of small and large matching Christian Colin fibre-glass sculptures of a face to be returned. The smaller sculpture was the initial present, with the larger one valued at $100,000.

The some of that “maintenance and care” in the couple’s rented mansion includes a staff of six for $22,562 per month, $1,439 a week  for lawn mowing, and $2,723 each month for electricity, among other costs.

In another news, THR reports that, according to business associates and close acquaintances, Kim Dotcom is eyeing a documentary, biography, and album for release in the next few years. Actor Donovan Leitch is producing the doc, currently titled “Mega Conspiracy,” along with Dotcom’s friend Alex Mardikian, and Marc Levin (“Prayer for a Perfect Season”) is in talks to direct, with a distribution deal still in the works.
