Mobile operating system (mobile OS) strengths and weaknesses: Windows Phone vs. Android vs. iPhone
Do you remember the first Cell Phone you ever got, and it was huge? Mobile phone have changed drastically over the last years and so did mobile operating system (mobile OS). About half of U.S. phone owners have smartphones, the question for smartphone buyers “Windows Phone vs. Android vs. iPhone” Which One Should You Choose?
All latest mobile OS (Google‘s (GOOG) Android operating system or Apple‘s (AAPL) iOS for iPhones or Microsoft‘s (MSFT) Windows Phone OS) smartphones are incredibly fast, have beautiful displays, and come loaded with many features. Obviously there is a huge following of all three and at times they will clash over differences.
iPhone is still missing a built-in navigation app, Android does maps better. If choice in hardware is very important to you, Android is your best option. Android owners are still free to install apps from any other third-party source they want. When it comes to Camera iPhone 4S is your best bet. Google makes some of the best web-based apps around: Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, and Maps, but Apple’s apps and services just aren’t as good as Google’s.
With larger icons, Windows Phone is a little easier to use… device speed- iPhone is still the fastest smartphone available. Now let’s think about, when you take a photo on beach… Android or Windows Phone has simple option to upload it to Facebook and even tag your friends straight from the camera. But, on the iPhone, you have to go into the Facebook app and manually upload it.
