Now it will be easy to translate emails on Gmail
The web giant, Google (GOOG) has announced the addition of three new features to Gmail today including automatic message translation, Title Tweaks and Smart Mute. On receiving a message in a language other than your own, all the users need to do is click on Translate message in the header at the top of the message, and it will be instantly translated into your language.
Google Translate product manager Jeff Chin said, We’re excited to announce three Gmail Labs graduations today: Automatic Message Translation, Smart Mute and Title Tweaks. “The next time you receive a message in a language other than your own, just click on Translate message in the header at the top of the message and it will be instantly translated into your language,” he added.http://gmailblog.blogspot.com/2012/05/say-hello-or-ola-or-halo-or-salam-to.html
The Smart Mute has been improved such that “noisy” email threads stay out of the inbox.
Title tweaks, allows one to change the text in the browser tab so one can more easily see if one has new messages.
The tab can read “Inbox (20) – firstname.lastname@example.org – Gmail” instead of “Gmail – Inbox (20) – email@example.com.”
Users can choose to have messages in a language automatically translated in their language by selecting “Always Translate”, or they can click for translation using a translate message option. They can also turn off translation for a language.
