John Doerr is a partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. Together with KPCB’s partners, John has backed many of America’s best entrepreneurial leaders, including: Larry Page, Sergey Brin, Eric Schmidt: Google [GOOG], Jeff Bezos: Amazon [AMZN],  Scott Cook, Bill Campbell: Intuit [INTU], Andy Bechtolsheim, Scott McNealy, Bill Joy, Vinod Khosla: Sun [SUNW], And the founders of Compaq, Cypress, Macromedia and Symantec. Backed social network Plaxo, gobbled up by Comcast last year, and Tellme, the voice applications company acquired by Microsoft in 2007.

Michael is a venture capitalist at Sequoia Capital focusing on software and services investments. Prior to joining Sequoia Capital in 1986, he worked in a variety of positions at Time Warner and was a Founder of Technologic Partners.

Brook Byers has been a venture capital investor since 1972. He has been closely involved with more than fifty new technology based ventures, over half of which have already become public companies.
