he tragic death of the music legend at age 50 on June 25, 2009 has brought forth worldwide outpouring of tributes. Near and far, fans throughout the world are eager to take part in what may be one of the largest funeral and memorial services in history.
The funeral will be broadcast online on the website’s of most mainstream news broadcasters, as well as specialized online video sites including WebTvHub.com, Hulu.com, uStream.com, NewTeeVee.com, Stickham.com and LiveStation.com.
The Michael Jackson Memorial Service at the Staples Center has been confirmed for Tuesday, July 7, 2009 and scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time.
This event promises to be huge as large crowds are expected to arrive at the funeral site. Therefore the media will be covering the event live on the web where it can be viewed by people all over the world.
There are 17,500 tickets for the Michael Jackson funeral service. 11,000 to attend live at Staples and another 6,500 to view a simulcast on big screens at the nearby Nokia theatre.
If you wish to attend the event live, even if you don’t have tickets, broadcast will aire on the tv screens inside LA LIVE next to Nokia.

101 Fwy southbound from San Fernando/Santa Clarita Valleys to 110 Fwy southbound (Harbor Fwy/San Pedro) from Burband, Glendale, Pasadena
* 110 Fwy southbound
* exit Olympic Blvd. and turn left at end of ramp
* at 11th Street turn left
* continue on 11th Street past Cherry Street
* turn left into the West Garage
10 Fwy westbound from San Bernardino, Riverside, Pomona, Ontario, etc.
* 10 Fwy westbound (towards Los Angeles)
* 110 Fwy northbound exit then take the Pico Blvd. off ramp
* continue north past Pico Blvd. (on Cherry St.) to 11th Street
* at 11th Street turn right
* turn left into the West Garage
405 Fwy southbound from Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, etc. to 10 Fwy eastbound from Westside
* 10 Fwy eastbound
* exit Hoover Street, turn left and continue to Alvarado St
* turn right at Pico Blvd.
* continue on Pico Blvd. to Cherry Street
* turn left into the West Garage
405 Fwy northbound from San Diego, Orange County, Anaheim, etc
* 405 Fwy norht to 110 Fwy north (Harbor Fwy/Los Angeles)
* take 110 Fwy north and transition to the 10 Fwy West
* take the Pico Blvd. off ramp
* continue north past Pico Blvd. (on Cherry Street) to 11th Street
* at 11th Street turn right
* turn left into the West Garage.
