TwitPub v2.0 Launches! New Facelift & Better Features (with Twitter Premium DM)

TwitPub is a marketplace where Twitter user can sell access to their updates, by registering their protected accounts with the service.

TwitPub allows users to subscribe to premium content (or tweets) that have more focus on topics of your interest. E.g. Horoscopes, Jokes, News, Stock Tips, Feng Shui, Events, Headlines and more!

This is very different from other premium content on the Web, as TwitPub allows you to follow premium content that is on the beat via Twitter. And Twitter makes content available in concise and timely formats that are highly accessible from the web, any Twitter clients of your choice, or even receive as SMS on your mobile phone.

TwitPub shares revenue with Publishers, giving them “80% or more, depending on the volume of the subscriptions” and keeping 20% or less for “revenue sharing and operating expenses”.

Probably the same idea why people still buy books when so much information is already available free on the web. So, it’s the choice of media and preference on the author.
