MocoSpace (www.mocospace.com) ranks in the top 10 social networks visited on mobile phones according to leading browser company Opera.
Opera’s State of the Mobile Web report measures traffic trends of its nearly 20 million Opera Mini users around the world. Opera Mini is the mobile version of Opera’s popular browser. In the January 2009 report, Opera recapped 2008 social networking activity on mobile phones.
Among the sites listed, MocoSpace had the highest annual growth rate in unique visitors of the US companies at 835%. It was the third highest overall, trailing only the two social sites based out of Russia. MocoSpace first appeared on the State of the Mobile Web report in May of 2008 as the number three mobile site in the United States.
