Richard Kimber a new CEO for Friendster: ooops do not say, google!

The social network Friendster has hired ex-Google executive Richard Kimber as their fresh CEO. Friendster has been making fairly the riposte, as they also announced that they have already raised $20 million in venture funding from Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Benchmark Capital, DAG Ventures and the Founders Fund. IDG Ventures is the newest investor in the company.
Richard Kimber worked at Google as the regional managing director in Southeast Asia, which will assist Friendster, who is doing the most business in the Asia-Pacific region.
Friendster is a very well-liked social network in the Asia-Pacific region topping out as the No. 1 social network in countries such as Singapore. Friendster has over 75 million members to date, and continues to nurture.
