Pamela L. Saxton will join Thompson Creek Metals Company Inc. as a new Chief Financial Officer

Thompson Creek Metals Company Inc. , one of the world’s largest publicly traded, pure molybdenum producers, today announced that Pamela L. Saxton will join as Consulting Financial Executive effective August 4, 2008 and will become Chief Financial Officer and Vice President,and will replace Derek Price, the Company’s Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer.
- over 30 years of domestic and international finance and accounting experience within and outside the mining industry.
- previously Vice President, Finance – U.S. Operations for Franco-Nevada U.S. Corporation
- Served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Colorado-based NewWest Gold Corporation.
- 2004 to 2006, she was with First Data Corporation as Vice President and Controller – Payments Division in Englewood.
- Ms. Saxton holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Colorado in Boulder.
