America’s Top 20 Cities To Live With The Best Weather: 2018 ranking

With an average of three days above 90 degrees and six days below freezing, Santa Barbara, California has been named the number 1 best place to live in the United States for the weather in 2018, in a recent ranking by U.S. News & World Report.

So congratulations Santa Barbara!

Number 2 on the list is Salinas, California. Number 3 was given to San Diego, California, and 4th was tied between San Francisco and San Jose.

Clearly, it’s the coastal California cities that dominated this report!

In its 2018 ranking of the 20 best places to live in the United States for the Weather, U.S. News & World Report gathered data from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s National Centers for Environmental Information, factoring in the average number of cloudy days and the average number of days above 90 degrees (below 32 degrees Fahrenheit).
