The 20 Best Universities In Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa: QS BRICS Rankings 2018

China’s Tsinghua University secured the number one rank among all the universities of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa (BRICS) in the latest QS BRICS Rankings 2018. Peking University, Fudan University, and the University of Science and Technology of China ranked second, third, and forth respectively.

A total of 94 Chinese institutions made to the list of 300, followed by 68 from Russia, 65 from India, 61 from Brazil, and 12 from South Africa.

Lomonosov Moscow State University has ranked 5th and is the top ranked institute from Russia.

Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mumbai, placed 9th, has shown the best results among the Indian universities.

Four Indian institutions — Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mumbai; Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru; Indian Institute of Technology Delhi; and Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, Chennai — feature in the top 20.
