These Are The 50 Richest Women Billionaires In America, 2017

Only 50 women managed to make the list of America’s 400 richest people list for 2017, and just 3 of the top 25 members are women.

Unsurprisingly, with an estimated $38.2 billion fortune, Walmart’s Alice Walton is, once again, the richest woman in America, followed by candy heiress Jacqueline Mars, with a net worth of $25.5 billion.

Walton and Mars are doing well for themselves, though. Together, the two women have a net worth of $63.7 billion.

Still, that’s lower than the net worth of each of the four richest members of the list. Mark Zuckerberg is worth about $71 billion, Warren Buffett is worth about $78 billion, Jeff Bezos hovers just under $81.5 billion, and the wealthiest of them all — Bill Gates — has a staggering net worth of $89 billion.

Laurene Powell Jobs of Apple and Disney fame is the third richest woman in America, with a net worth of $19.4 billion.
