World’s Top 100 Universities For Arts And Humanities Degrees, 2018

Stanford University’s arts and humanities programs has been ranked number one in the world university rankings for arts and humanities subjects, while the MIT ranked 2nd and Harvard, has fallen to third.

The 2018 rankings placed the University of Oxford in 4th ahead of the University of Cambridge into 5th; while University College London ranked 6th, and the University of Chicago 7th.

Overall, among the top 10 universities, the 8th, 9th, and 10th positions are held by Princeton University, Yale University, and Columbia University.

Peking University was the only Chinese institution to make the top 20, ranked at 17, up from 27th last year.

The annual rankings measure world’s best universities with programs in art, performing arts, languages, history, philosophy, theology, architecture and archaeology.

Business school at Stanford University (Stanford Graduate School of Business) was earlier this month ranked at #9 place in the CEOWORLD magazine’s best business schools in the world for 2017.
