Here Are The 20 Most Profitable Tech Companies In Fortune Global 500 List, 2017

With an annual profit of $45.6 billion, Apple was ranked as the world’s most profitable tech company, according to the Fortune Global 500 2017 list. Alphabet, with an annual profit of $19.48 billion, ranked No 2 on the elite list of the most profitable tech companies, closely followed by Samsung Electronics, with an annual profit of $19.32 billion.

Rounding out the top 10 most profitable tech companies slots below Apple, Alphabet, and Samsung are: Microsoft ($16.80 billion), IBM ($11.87 billion), Cisco ($10.74 billion), Intel ($10.32 billion), Taiwan’s TSMC ($10.28 billion), Facebook ($10.22 billion), and Oracle ($8.90 billion).

In the 2017 edition of the Fortune Global 500 list, Asia is now home to 197 companies, followed by North America (145 companies) and Europe (143 companies), and the rest of the world has a mere 15 companies on the list.
