The 2nd and 3rd positions are held by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Stanford University. Harvard is regularly named among the world’s best universities.

What are the top 20 most powerful university brands in America for 2017?

The United States dominated the study with almost half of the world’s top 100 most powerful university brands. Behind Stanford, UC Berkeley ranked 6th, Princeton ranked 7th, Yale ranked 8th, and UChicago ranked 9th in the world. California Institute of Technology (Caltech) also made it into the top ten.
