Harvard vs. Stanford: Which Universities Have Produced The Most Billionaires, 2017 Study?

Harvard University ranked number one college for producing most billionaires, according to the Wealth-X study, which ranked universities across the world by how many billionaire alumni they had produced.

Harvard has graduated some 131 billionaires, with a collective fortune of $528.7 billion, , to lead a global list of universities ranked by alumni worth $1 billion or more – in the so-called three commas club.

That’s more than twice as many as the No. 2 school, Stanford University, which has 50 billionaire alumni worth a collective $338.9 billion.

What is Three Commas Club?

Three Commas Club is an all exclusive club limited to those individuals whose net-worth is valued at a billion dollars or more.

To be in the three commas club is to be a billionaire = A billion dollars ($1,000,000,000) has 3 commas.

As the chart below shows, the University of Pennsylvania, has 77 billionaires to its credit,ranked No. 3 on the list.

So which universities are shelling out the most billionaires?
