20 countries with the most billionaires in 2016

Despite of it’s economic slowdown, China is home to the largest number of billionaires in the world, according to Hurun Report which recently released the Global Rich List 2016, a ranking of the US dollar billionaires. Report reveals that there are 568 billionaires living in China compared with the 535 in the United States. Meanwhile, India with 111 billionaires comes in third place.

If all the wealth of these Chinese billionaires is combined, it is equivalent to Australia’s GDP, with a net worth amounting to $1.4 trillion (£1.01 trillion).

The 20 countries with the most billionaires in 2016, China topped the list with a billionaire population of 568.
