Top 25 Business Schools Based On Faculty Research Productivity, 2015

Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania

Business schools based in the United States continue to dominate faculty research productivity rankings for 2015, with 22 of the top 25 schools based there, according to the latest report from the Naveen Jindal School of Management (JSOM), an index that tracks faculty research productivity at management schools.

The ranking is based on faculty research published in 24 leading peer-reviewed journals over a period of 5 years. Though the results of the Dallas rankings have many similarities to those of the research rating compiled by the CEOWORLD magazine for its World’s Top Business Schools Rankings.

The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania held on to its No. 1 spot followed by the Harvard University, which ranked  No. 2, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which ranked No. 3, New York University, which ranked No. 4, and the University of Texas at Austin rounded out the top five.

Three non-U.S. business schools made the top 25 worldwide list. The highest ranked schools from outside the US are Insead, based in France, Singapore and Abu Dhabi, which ranked No. 7, the Rotman school at the University of Toronto, which ranked No. 8, and Hong Kong UST, which ranked No. 24.

10. University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Kenan-Flagler Business School) with 188 articles

11. University of Southern California (Marshall School of Business) with 183 articles
12. University of Texas at Dallas (Naveen Jindal School of Management) with 198 articles
