Elafonisi beach on the south coast of Crete has been named the best beach in Greece, the third best in Europe – and the 10th best beach in the world for 2015. Eggremni Beach in Lefkada and Balos Beach and Lagoon in Kissamos came in second and third place respectively for the best beaches in the Greece, according to the TripAdvisor Traveller Choice Beaches Awards.
St Pauls Bay Beach, in Lindos, and Navagio Beach (Shipwreck Beach), in Zakynthos were crowned in 4th and 5th place in the top 10 most amazing beaches in Greece. Sarakiniko Beach in Milos, was named the 6th most amazing beach in Greece, while Myrtos Beach, in Cephalonia, scooped 7th place in the top 10 best beaches in Greece awards.
